A few months ago I applied for a professional development scholarship from TCEA that would allow me to complete their CTS certification course (which costs $750!). Renate and Ann graciously wrote letters of reference for me and I tried to put all of my passion for technology into a one-page essay. A few weeks ago I received a call that I was the winner of the $1000 scholarship and was invited (with 4 guests!) to a reception at the TCEA convention in Austin. Wow!!! Last night was the award reception and my family joined me. I am thrilled to begin the TCEA Campus Technology Specialist certification program and look forward to learning more fabulous tricks and tools to share with you!!!
